Tactile Study No. 1: Crimson RhythmFrom the Form & Finish SeriesCrimson Rhythm is the debut piece in an ongoing exploration of organic repetition and light. This work moves away from traditional representation to focus entirely on the physical experience of the canvas, the "tactile" nature of art.Drenched in a single, vibrant saturated fluorescent pink/red, the composition is defined by hand-sculpted, raised cells. Lemster Aak: A Vessel of Memory (Sold)Growing up in the Netherlands, my fondest childhood memories were etched not on land, but on water. This painting depicts our family Lemster Aak, the iconic traditional Dutch sailboat that felt like a second home.My art is a way of preserving these foundational moments. To capture the feeling of both the boat on the waves and the wetness of the memory itself, I finished this piece with a high-gloss resin coat.
